The Carriage House, adjacent to the Inn, is available for both short and long-term stays. It features three bedrooms, one and one-half baths, a full kitchen, dining room, living room, a second-floor sitting porch, and private laundry facilities.
The First Floor is furnished with a combination of antiques & contemporary amenities. For those who want to catch up on the world outside of Lewisburg, their is a TV available in The Living Room. Originally used to serve guests in the Inn, the table in The Dining Room seats up to 8. The island in The Kitchen is a vintage butcher block from the Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C. All cookware, dishes, and appliances are available for guest use. The private laundry facilities are also off the kitchen.
The Second Floor is also furnished with a mixture of antiques & modern fixtures. The Master Bedroom has a beautiful four-post bed made by Pennsylvania House furniture company back when their manufacturing plant was still in Lewisburg. The Bedroom Office is a quite place to rest and get work done. It is also home to part of the Inn’s original sign. The secret of The Guest Room is its’ exclusive access to the quaint second floor sitting-porch and perfect for reading a book with a nice cup of tea.
Depending on the length of the desired stay, the sheets and towels are refreshed at the request of the guest(s). Intervals for turn down service can also be tailored for those with special needs. For longer stays, the entire Carriage House will be cleaned on a bi-weekly basis. A desired stay of 1-6 months is preferred, but not required.
